A Year Already!!!

Maddox had his first birthday last week. I can't believe how quickly this year has passed. We had such a fun day. He really ate up all the attention.
Grandma and Grandpa came to town and spoiled him rotten. He loved opening his presents... although I think he was more interested in the wrapping paper.
I made him a Maddox-size, semi-healthy carrot cake.
I think his favorite part was having us sing to him. What a huge smile!!!
We really had never seen him smile so big.
He was a little unsure about the cake at first...
But figured it out pretty quickly.
He thought it was so good he wanted me to try some. What a sweet boy. :)
